A forthcoming documentary portrait of legendary football manager Carlo Ancelotti, directed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino, is being made in association with Tiger 11 Sports & Entertainment. The film is produced by Francesco Melzi d’Eril for MDE Films; Chloe McClay, Celia Babini, and Buck Andrews for Tart Productions; and Gabriele Moratti for MeMo Films. The film is also in collaboration with Fremantle and The Apartment, with FilmNation handling worldwide sales outside Italy. Where Is Football’s Eric Beard serves as an Executive Producer.
Now in production, the motion picture will offer an intimate look at the life and career of one of football’s most celebrated figures — tracing Ancelotti’s journey from a farming family in Reggiolo, Italy, to his current role as manager of the Brazil national team, following seven UEFA Champions League titles across his playing and managerial career.
